To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Japan's iconic tokusatsu monster, Godzilla, Bandai Toys' Digimon LCD toy series, 'Digital Monster', has announced the second collaboration product, 'PENDULUM COLOR Godzilla Edition', slated for release in August 2026.

The game once again brings Toho monsters into the Digital World. This time, the number of included characters has increased to 58, with 57 of them being trainable. The Toho monster lineup covers multiple Godzilla series films from the Showa, Heisei, and Millennium eras, and even includes original monsters from spin-off projects such as 'Burning Millennium Godzilla' and 'Gatling Gigan'. As for the Digimon, various characters like Agumon and Gabumon are included, with five new collaboration-exclusive Digimon that evolve through G-Cells: Greymon: G-Invasion Mode, MetalGarurumon: G-Invasion Mode, Machinedramon (Virus): G-Invasion Mode, BlackWarGreymon: G-Invasion Mode, and Omegamon: G-Fusion Mode.

Compared to its predecessor, the 'Digital Monster COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition', this model also features modern hardware such as a color LCD screen and a USB Type-C rechargeable battery. It includes a 'Sleep Mode' for when you're too busy to play, a 'Backup System' to save monster states and switch between育成 monsters at any time, and the ability to connect and battle with some COLOR series models. Furthermore, a new 'Shake Function' has been added to enrich gameplay, allowing players to vigorously shake the device before training or battle, with the number of shakes influencing training results or battle attack power.

During gameplay, you can train Digimon or monsters through exercise and battles with other monsters, and the familiar 'Godzilla Theme Song' will play during battles. The results of battles and training will cause fluctuations in 'G-Cell Activity Value', leading to branching evolution paths for Koromon, either evolving into a regular Agumon or a form invaded by Godzilla cells.
