Promising Development Update Released for Grand Theft Auto 6
Published 7 Nov 2024
Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track for a Fall 2025 release, putting to rest fears that it could slip into 2026. This update reassures fans that the game remains aligned with the previously announced timeframe, giving the eagerly awaiting community some peace of mind.

Interest in GTA 6 has been monumental, especially since it’s been a decade since the release of GTA 5. With just one trailer so far, fans have analyzed every detail for hints of what’s to come, sparking excitement over potential improvements and innovations. Despite the massive anticipation, Take-Two has yet to confirm an exact release date, sticking to the broad window of Fall 2025 for now.

The recent press release also refuted rumors of a possible delay to 2026, clarifying the game’s current timeline. GTA 6 is set for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no PC version confirmed yet. Given Rockstar’s history, a PC launch may follow later, as was the case with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Fans now eagerly await a second trailer, hoping for more updates soon.
