Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel has announced a Halloween-themed Selection Pack called "Tricky Reception," featuring spooky new cards, and a Duel Trial event to celebrate the season. Since its launch, Konami has consistently added new content to Master Duel, including monthly card updates and unique events with special deck-building challenges. This Halloween event continues the tradition of offering seasonal exclusives for players.
Konami has previously marked holidays in Master Duel with limited-time cosmetics and events. Last year's Halloween event introduced themed items like the "Ghostrick Lantern" Mate and "Live Twin Lil-la Treat" card sleeves. For this Halloween, Konami will introduce two new cards, "Hallo the Spirit of Tricks" and "Ween the Spirit of Treats," debuting just after their Japanese OCG release. The Duel Trial event will run from October 28 to October 31, featuring these new cards.
This isn't the first time Master Duel has released cards before their physical English debut, as seen with last year's "Promethean Princess" release. The new Halloween content follows major changes to the game's meta, with the recent banlist affecting popular decks and the introduction of powerful new archetypes. Master Duel’s Halloween event offers a festive break from the competitive scene with its themed fun.
