Blizzard has announced the return of rare Overwatch skins in Overwatch 2 for a limited time. Players who missed out on Overwatch League skins, including all-star and championship skins, can now purchase them again. The skins were previously available with OWL tokens but left the store after the Overwatch League ended in 2023.
The Overwatch League, which ran from 2018 to 2023, featured skins for each team, champion teams, all-stars, and MVP players. These skins will return to the Overwatch store as Blizzard transitions from the OWL to the Overwatch Champions Series. Along with new and legacy team skins, legendary skins will be available for purchase between September 10 and October 15.
Three skin bundles will be released, starting with the All-Stars Unvault Bundle from September 10 to September 24, followed by the Overwatch League Legends Mega Bundle and the 2022 Tournament Bundle in October. Overwatch League fans will have until 2025 to purchase these rare skins and complete their collections.
