Since the release of HoYoverse's new urban fantasy RPG, Zenless Zone Zero, the development team has been actively working on quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. The game's most criticized feature, TV mode, will receive updates to make transitions between exploration and combat more seamless in Versions 1.1 and 1.2. These updates aim to enhance gameplay and address player concerns, with Version 1.1 set to be released on August 14.
Version 1.1 will introduce several enhancements, including a more immersive narrative experience where players can interact with New Eridu's neighborhoods and progress the story from the mission protagonist's perspective. A "Manual Chain Attack" mode and a "Cancel Chain Attack Combo" function will be added for combat flexibility. Additionally, new challenging combat missions, improved enemy attribute displays, customizable UI buttons for mobile devices, and automatic unlocking of new Agent avatars will be implemented.
Version 1.2 and beyond will focus on further optimizations, such as the "Fairy Assistance" feature for collecting unclaimed rewards, accelerated playback in the "Monitor Array," and a "Preset Lineup" feature. The entrance for Agent Training will be adjusted, and repeated combat stages added, while higher Inter-Knot levels will allow time adjustments. Future updates will enable control of more Agents in the city, improve Agent models, and optimize the interface. HoYoverse emphasizes ongoing updates based on player feedback to enhance the overall gaming experience, with Zenless Zone Zero available on PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
