Genshin Impact Leak Hints at Significant Battle Pass Overhaul in Version 5.0
Published 22 Jul 2024
A recent Genshin Impact leak suggests a significant update to the Battle Pass with Version 5.0, allowing players to choose Talent books from any region. This change addresses player complaints about the availability of Talent materials, making it easier for them to upgrade their characters' abilities. Currently, the Battle Pass only provides Talent books from the most recent region, but the update will enable players to select books from any region as a reward for every fifth level of the premium Battle Pass.

The Battle Pass in Genshin Impact rewards players for consistent engagement with the game, offering gacha currency, EXP materials, Mora, and valuable resources like regional Talent books and Fragile Resin. The anticipated update aims to improve the player experience by enhancing the rewards system. Alongside this, the Version 5.0 update is expected to bring several quality-of-life improvements, including the ability to skip certain levels in the Spiral Abyss and raising device performance requirements to support new graphical features.

Version 5.0 is set to launch on August 27 and will introduce the new region of Natlan and three new characters. The character leveling process, a recent focus of Genshin Impact's updates, will see further improvements. Previous updates have shortened World Boss cooldowns, and future updates may include a new tracking system for local specialties. Overall, Version 5.0 promises to be an exciting patch with new content and enhancements for Genshin Impact fans.
